0.5 g sample Prepare either 4 - 6 vessels or 8 - 10 vessels Stage 1: Slowly add 8 mL of HNO3. Microwave heat according to settings specified in either appendix A.1 or A.2 Cool vessels. Stage 2: Add 4 mL HF and 2 mL HCl Microwave heat according to settings specified in either appendix A.1 or A.2 Cool vessels. Stage 3: Add 35.5 mL of H3BO3. Microwave heat according to settings specified in either appendix A.1 or A.2 Cool vessels. |
