50.0 mL of sample For ICP, DCP, FAAS - add 3 mL HNO3 and 2 mL HCl For ET-AAS - add 5 mL HNO3 Prepare 12 vessels For MW units with 575 - 635 W use 100% power for 50 min For MW units with 635 - 700 W use 100% power for 30 min. For MW units with >700 W reduced powers are necessary to reproduce heating curves. Both settings will allow the samples to reach a maximum temperature of 164 ± 4°C |
